Before we start our day together I want to share a special video that your Chamberlin teachers worked together to make. You will notice a lot of familiar faces!
We are all SO proud of the work you are doing and we miss you with all of our hearts. I know that there have been a lot of big change, just remember that YOU are doing amazing and WE are always going to be here for you!
Morning Meeting
In today's morning meeting we will talk a little bit about what our plan is for the day. I hope you get my letters soon!
Number Practice and April Calendar
We will practice writing the numerals that we will use to fill in our calendar for April. You will practice using your dry-erase board and marker. Then you will use your very best kindergarten handwriting to write the missing numbers with a pencil on your calendar.
Five Green Frogs: Sing Along!
Let's sing together and use our math hands to practice our take away skills!
Ten Little Ladybugs by Melanie Gerth
In this story we will start at 10 and take away 1 page by page. Follow along and help me figure out how many ladybugs will be left.
Sink and Float Ideas
Scientists, today we will look at other materials you might have around your home that you could use to do the sink and float experiments.
Read Aloud: Be Kind by Pat Zietlow Miller
I hope you'll enjoy listening to this beautiful story about kindness. You might even be inspired to do an act of kindness today at your home. I am thankful that I have such kind students.
