Good Morning Friends!
Let's start our day with a morning meeting. We will sing "Hello Everybody" for our greeting.
Handwriting Practice
Today we will practice using our best kindergarten handwriting to write the words from our word sort. Today we will write the -at words together, paying close attention to the sun line, airplane line, grass line, and worm line. You will need your practice strip, your dry-erase marker, and your eraser for this activity.
Super Readers: Sound Power!
Today you will activate your Sound Power. We will use our eyes, brains, and ears to help us figure out the words on the page. Help Ms. Hall and Mabel read the story, "My Horse". Try using your superpowers to reread the books in your book bag!
New Math Game
Today we will learn how to play the game Break the Bank. This fun partner game will help us practice taking away numbers. Watch Mabel and I figure out how to play together!
Sink and Float

Read Aloud: Chester's Way
Friends! Check out this amazing video of the book, Chester's Way by Kevin Henkes. Two readers work together to tell the story. One uses American Sign Language while the other uses spoken word. What a great way to experience a story!
